Aitzaz, Kurd attend Geo’s ‘Agahi’ show

KARACHI: Former president Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Aitzaz Ahsan and President SCBA Ali Ahmed Kurd attended ‘Agahi’ show organized by Geo TV here at Azadi Street on Sunday.Speaking on the occasion, Aitzaz Ahsan said: “No one can deceive us unless we stop deceiving ourselves.” He once again lauded Geo TV’s role during the entire lawyers movement aimed at achieving independence of judiciary in the country. Ali Ahmed Kurd on the occasion said the lawyers were confident that their movement would ultimately culminate in success.“We are echoes of the voices of civil society, political and human rights activists who had been struggling for the cause of justice in the past, therefore, no one can stop us,” the SCBA President said amid applause of the gathering.The Laal Band enthralled the audience with their mesmerizing singing at the show.
